Friday, June 11, 2004 Adventure: Street Find I was walking in NYC on a late-Spring Friday when I took a closer look at one of the nut vendors across from main branch of the Public Library at 40th & 5th because I saw something I’d never seen before - and it was definitely not a nut. Now, technically, the things those vendors make are praline - nuts cooked in caramelized sugar. The item that caught my eye - chunks of coconut praline. Warm, slightly crunchy, and oh-so delicious. Even if there was someone with me to share them with, I don’t think I would have. What do your tastebuds tell you?
